With only 1421 examples produced, the Cayman R is quite the rare breed. Maybe misunderstood by many due to its minimal visual changes but in fact those changes under the skin is what made the original 1967 R undoubtedly special.

Here we have the one and only final edition of the Mazda RX7 Spirit R (Type A). Coined the “ultimate” RX7, with only 1,044 ever produced, this is truly rare. The Spirit R sports a pair of lightweight Kevlar Recaro bucket seats (saving 10kg), forged 17-inch BBS alloys, cross-drilled brake discs and original Bilstien suspension (now swapped to modern Ohlins suspension)… Adjustability of the carbon fibre rear wing’s angle for ultimate attack mode is also a nice feature.

Going back to 2007 and zooming straight into the details, the Toyota Harrier Zagato was an all out collaboration between one of the most respected Italian coach-building house “Zagato” and Toyota / Toyopet Japan.

The first generation NA1 Honda NSX code named (New Sportscar eXperimental), marketed in North America and Hong Kong as the Acura NSX. Penned by the infamous Ken Okuyama whom also was trusted with the Enzo Ferrari and the Ferrari P4/5. Two other special figures were, Honda Chief Designer Masahito Nakano, and Executive Chief Engineer Shigeru Uehara (who were subsequently placed in charge of the S2000 project).
The benchmark performance was to exceed the performance of the Ferrari 328 and the later 348, while offering superior reliability and offered to the public at a lower price.
State of the art technology features the C30A engine, with connecting rods made by titanium alloy for the purpose of lowering reciprocating weight. Not to mention that the material strengthen the rods, increasing the engine's maximum rpm by 700 and a final redline of 8,000 rpm.
Design-wise, the F-16 fighter jet cockpit was conceptually studded and the "cab-forward" layout was chosen to optimize visibility, together with the long tail design in enhancing the high speed directional stability. The NSX was also the first production car to feature all-aluminum semi-monocoque frame and suspension components in which it saved a near 200kg compared to a steel body.
The NSX also was designed to showcase several automotive technologies, many derived from Honda's F1 Motorsports program.
Pre sign off, the car was chassis-tested by the respected Formula One driver Satoru Nakajima at the Suzuka race circuit and the Brazilian Formula One champion Aryton Senna whom was considered Honda's main innovator and single-handedly convinced the company to stiffen the NSX's chassis.

With only three years of production between 2003-2005. The 996 GT3 RS is the first water-cooled to carry the RS name and is perhaps one of the most special one produced to date. This also makes it one of the rarest mass production car of only 682 produced worldwide, of which only 140 are right hand drive, baring in mind this is a Hong Kong Jebsen car. With various Clubsport interior trims, the example we have here is the most desirable of all. In which includes a full roll cage, six point harness with the option of regular seatbelts in place, fixed-back Recaro seats wrapped in flame-proof Nomex material, single-mass flywheel, and a fire extinguisher, all with FIA homologation in mind. The suspension was optimized and even the mounting points and mounts were stiffer than the regular GT3. Seemingly this should bump up the weight but in fact the car dropped 50kg totaling at 1330kg, thanks to the help of a carbon Kevlar front hood, a carbon rear deck lid, wing, rear polycarbonate window, and most special of all, magnesium wheels wrapped in specially developed Pirelli Pzero Nspec tires.
Based on the Gen2 GT3 utilizing the same 3,600cc power plant rated at maximum outputs bumped up to 375bhp at 7400rpm and 284lb ft from 5000rpm is pure race car pedigree. Improvement of exactly four percent over the Clubsport version of the 996 GT3.
With the contemporary rival, the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, shooting up in value. This extremely rare RS seems to represent much better value and one of which deems a fantastic investment.

Based on the blueprint of the Motorsport Elise, the Lotus Exige was meant to be the hardcore sibling of the already visceral road-going Elise. The Series 1 was unapologetic, the Series 2 a commercial success and the Series 3 a completely developed concept.
Since the Series 3, the Exige differentiated itself from the Elise with the supercharged 3,456cc Toyota 2GR-FE V6. In order to allow drivers to fully exploit the newly gained power, the wheelbase is both longer and wider for increased stability. With a power-to-weight ratio comparable to the contemporary Porsche 911 Turbo, it’s suffice to say that the Exige lives up to its fast and aggressive styling.
Here we have a 2012/13 Exige S in an eye-catching red. This specific example was optioned with the Race Pack from new and gives the driver an extra “Race Mode”. A set of 3-way adjustable Nitron suspensions have also been fitted to allow the car to cope with any surface you would want to drive on.
